Ride Info:

No fees or membership required, ...just good folks having fun!

Weather permitting, all rides leave promptly at posted times - we ask that you arrive about 15 minutes early to allow for specific instruction/information prior to departure.


Participants ride at their own risk.

Ride Safety:

All participants are required to wear bicycle helmets.

Florida bicycle laws will be observed.

Slow Ride

On the first Saturday of each month: This ride leaves promptly at 8:30am from 1203 E. Powhatan Avenue. All bicyclists of any age will enjoy this slow ride of about 5 miles long. Bring your kids, your parents, grandparents, neighbors, and anyone else interested in doing a short, leisurely paced route around the Lake Roberta area of Seminole Heights. As always, helmets are required and participants ride at their own risk.

Intermediate Ride

On the second Saturday of each month: This ride leaves promptly at 8:30am from the Seminole Heights Garden Center. We currently alternate different routes from month to month. All routes are slow to moderate in pace and are usually with a distance of at least 10 miles upon return. Please view our calendar page to see which ride is scheduled.
Urban Ride: One of our mid-range tours, known as the Urban Ride, leads into Downtown Tampa/Hyde Park and returns to the Seminole Heights Garden Center. Please contact us with any questions you may have regarding this ride.
River Ride: This is a 10 mile tour of Seminole Heights' neighborhoods along the twists and turns of the Hillsborough River. You can click on the course map below to view a sample River Ride route.

Long Ride - Advanced and Intermediate

On the third Saturday of each month: this ride leaves promptly at 8:30am from the Seminole Heights Garden Center. It's a wonderful ride through neighborhoods, waterfronts and urban areas with various terrain.

We have two groups you can ride with:

Group 1: This first group is for the slightly more advanced rider and keeps a faster pace around 16-20 mph with no scheduled stops, and covers about 25-30 miles.

Group 2: This second group is a slower-paced ride, between 10-14 mph. The distance is shorter at around 18 miles, and has a stop about mid-way through the ride.
